Our Soft Opening: The Beginning of Something Sweet 💛🍦
On August 22, 2026, we officially opened the doors to Collier’s Creamery for the very first time.
What may have looked like a simple soft opening was so much more to our family.
Collier’s Creamery was born from a journey we never expected to walk. After our son Collier was diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer, our lives became filled with surgeries, treatments, hospital stays, uncertainty, and countless prayers. Through some of our hardest days, we were also reminded just how important the little moments are—the smiles, the laughter, time spent together, and the people who show up beside you.
That is part of what inspired Collier’s Creamery.
We wanted to create a place where families could come together, enjoy something sweet, make memories, and simply have a reason to smile. We also wanted this little ice cream shop to have a purpose bigger than ourselves.
That’s why a portion of every purchase at Collier’s Creamery helps support pediatric cancer families. 🎗️
Opening Our Doors
For our soft opening, we kept things simple—hand-dipped ice cream in cups or cones. No big menu. No fancy extras. Just ice cream, our community, and the opportunity to finally welcome people into something our family had dreamed about for so long.
And you showed up. 💕
Seeing people walk through our doors, watching families enjoy their ice cream, hearing your kind words, and feeling the love and support from our community made our first weekend one we will never forget.
There were certainly things to learn—and there still are! That's exactly what a soft opening is for. But standing inside Collier’s Creamery and realizing this little dream was finally real was pretty special.
This Is Only the Beginning
We have so many things we hope to bring to Collier’s Creamery: new treats, specialty sundaes, community events, family nights, opportunities to give back, and plenty of reasons to gather together.
But no matter how much we grow, we never want to lose sight of why we started.
